About the event

Lorraine read law at Manchester University, she was called to the Bar in July 2000 and was appointed Queen's Counsel in 2019. She is on the Executive Committee of both the Association of Lawyers for Children and the Court of Protection Practitioners Association. Lorraine has also appeared in numerous cases where this issue has arisen representing both the family and the doctors involved so she is uniquely placed to provide an valuable insight into the delicate balance to be struck by the courts. Her talk on such a profoundly moving and thought provoking issue is not to be missed. 

The lecture will commence at 8.00 p.m on Zoom and a meeting link will be sent to our guests beforehand.
