About the event
Our speaker started his working life in the theatre and later became a Special Branch police officer involved in counter-terrorism operations. He also acted as a protection officer for prominent political figures including Margaret Thatcher and Ian Paisley, and members of the Royal Family including the Princess Royal and Princess Diana. He is uniquely positioned to provide an insight into this devastating bombing and its aftermath.
The lecture will commence at 7.00 p.m. We hope to hold this as our first hybrid event in person and online. For members attending in person drinks will be available at the LMI from 6.00 p.m.
