Dr Robert Angus, Consultant Respiratory Physician at Aintree has kindly agreed to be our guest speaker for our main event of the year; a lavish three course black tie dinner with friends and colleagues.

Dr Angus studied at Glasgow University, practiced in Liverpool since 1996 and as part of his fellowship has had attachments in London and Chicago, so we look forward to his unique blend of Glaswegian charm, Scouse wit, Cockney humour and Chi Town flair.

He is the co-chair of Education for Health, former chairman of Respiratory Education UK and former medical director of the hospital high dependency unit (HDU) which he helped constitute and establish. As part of his clinical practice he has been at the forefront of asthma care pioneering the outpatient non-invasive ventilation service and home care scheme for COPD.
