About the event
A chance to socialise with all our members at one of the most important events of the year. This will be a welcome return to socialising in person and a lavish three course black tie dinner not to be missed!
The Reverend Fergus Butler-Gallie has kindly agreed to be our guest speaker for the evening. The Reverend is the Assistant Curate at Liverpool Parish Church and the author of 'A Field Guide to the English Clergy', a Best Book of the Year for The Times, Mail on Sunday and BBC History. He is also the author of 'Priests de la Resistance! The Loose Canons who fought Fascism in the Twentieth Centry' a hugely enjoyable eccentric account of clerical heroism in the face of evil. He holds a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Oxford and a bachelor's degree in theology from the University of Cambridge. He once accidentally appeared on Only Connect. Described as a 'natural storyteller' by the New Statesman I'm sure he will have a few gems in store for our members and can look forward to a warm welcome.
